Lucy, the Dog: Part II

I actually had a normal lunch today at work and was looking through the blogs I follow. I went to one, A Southern Accent, to see the newest cute designs. I am not one for give-a-ways or new deals; so, I skipped over the first entry fairly quickly. The next was about the blogger's new carpet and a picture of her living room.

I love looking at people's homes, so I immediately studied the photo. She has such a unique sense of style and awww, what a cute dog! Then I read the text.

Her dog.....it's name is Lucy.

Are you freaking kidding me?

    Hey Cori! Yes, my crazy dog's name is Lucy! But that was my little girl's name if I had one, but we were blessed with a boy, so when we got our puppy, I decided to use our little girl's name since she's like a daughter to us! ;-) Her official name on her papers is "I Love Lucy"! I love the name Lucy - one of the reasons it was always on my list is because my grandmother's name was Lucille and my husband's grandmother's name was Lucy too! Thanks for stopping by the blog! :-) Your little girl is adorable!

    I hope you didn't mind me linking to your blog! I just wanted to share it with my readers, the few readers I have. I think the name 'I Love Lucy' is great, obviously. :) And, thank you for your comments about my little Lucy.

    Hopefully I won't continue to find blogs about dogs named Lucy- haha.
